This review is not related to work quality but bid process per this website (buildzoom) Communicated regarding two projects; a bathroom remodel and deck replacement. After providing a lot of requested detail regarding material selections (tub, tile ect) contractor was not interested in a site visit or providing an estimate without being told our full budget. The text exchange became completely non-standard given it was related to two very different project with enormously variable material selections. example: we requested quotes for both a cedar deck and a quote with dry decking- this would be a significant price difference. I was expecting a site visit, and a bid process involving provided option levels for finishes and materials: ie: You want marble tile it will be $X range, Ceramic $Y at an installed rate. The repeated demand for our budge was annoying- literally asked for 3x even after I indicated I would not be sharing. Serious concern for only his margins. Not for us. The entire exchange was a huge waste of my time.

I felt like he was more worried about his reputation than getting the job. He wanted to know all the supplies & my cost before he would submit a bid. Still haven't heard from him after asking about his submitting me a written bid.

Chris is a consummate professional. He is very good at communication, which avoids so many of the pitfalls that often arise in contractor-employer communication. Our project proceeded pretty much exactly as he said it would. He included a contingency in his estimate and that helped to absorb some additional costs that came up due to black mold remediation and investigating possible asbestos. We felt very fortunate to have his steady, experienced hand at the helm. I strongly recommend him.

Chris at Lionheart Construction is professional and pleasant to work with. Our cabin home is small and Chris did a bathroom remodel with tile work and laminate flooring and tile in another area. His work is timely and he is neat and tidy. We are very pleased with the quality and experience and would definitely recommend his company.

We are extremely satisfied with our firplace remodel, Chris even finished the job earlier than we had anticipated, he has great attention to detail. Plan to use his services in the future for more tile work. Highly recomend.

Lionheart Construction and the owner, Chris are absolutely one of a kind! We recently did a bathroom remodel. Chris is professional in every aspect from the deconstruct to the finished product. His guidance and suggestions were well thought out, and his attention to detail, no matter how small, made all the difference. He and all of his sub-contractors were polite, knowledgeable and on time. We could not have asked for better service. Chris with Lionheart Construction recently completed a main bathroom remodel for us and we could not be happier with the results. From planning to execution, Chris was knowledgeable and competent in every aspect of the project spending much time with us prior to the start to ensure that we knew of all the fixture and finish options available and guide us in the right direction. The bathroom was completely stripped down to the stud walls where everything was meticulously leveled, squared, plumbed and brought up to current codes with the best of materials. All the sub contractors that Chris brought in were just like himself, polite, hardworking, and respectful of our home. If attention to every small detail is important to you, Chris with Lionheart Construction should be your choice of contractor, he is the best that you will find. If you want a fast cheap shoddy job call the other guys, if you want results that you will be proud to show off to company and out of town guests you would do well to call Chris. Remember, experienced contractors aren't cheap, and cheap contractors aren't experienced.

Lionheart was our general contractor for installing a gas fireplace and upgrading our kitchen. Every component of the work was done well and with meticulous attention to detail. Chris had design ideas that we incorporated into the job, which turned out fitting beautifully into the space. Chris was professional every step of the way. He incorporated any requested changes and additions easily and at a reasonable cost. We couldn't be happier with the final product. Chris will be the first one we call if we have future renovation work.

My experience having Chris from Lionheart Construction was unlike any experience Ive ever had with someone I had to entrust with my most prized possession, my home. Extremely professional, on time and working with only one break for lunch everyday, I was extremely happy with Lionheart. The entire home had siding installed, all new windows, trim both inside and out...it was a makeover that turned our 50+ year home into a showplace!! Extremely reasonable prices and when its time for gutters and a new front door, Chris will return for that. I understand many, many people have the talent to do the work that Lionheart did for us but the way we were treated makes that point moot. If you're looking for smoking, foul mouthed workers that may or may not know what they are doing, please dont hire Lionheart. All you will get is great service and a fair price. Thanks again Chris
