This company installed my tankless water heater in 2017. We recently called them back out because we could not get hot water out to our faucets/showers. When the technician came out on Wednesday, he removed the check valve that was corroded close and said we did not need it any longer. He then diagnosed our problem as being that the mixer valve in one of our bathrooms needed to be changed out. He said he would be back the next day to change out the mixer valve. When he had not shown up by 6:00 p.m. Thursday we called the office and they told us he couldn't make it because he was changing out a hot water heater in LA. There was no courtesy call to us to let us know that he wasn't going to be showing up. They told us he would be out to our home on Friday (no time frame was given). Friday morning I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Rinnai diagnosing why we weren't getting any hot water out of our faucets (the unit is still under 100% warranty for parts and labor). Rinnai diagnosed our problem as being the check valve that the technician removed and did not replace. I called in to the office and they told me that the technician would be back out to our home that day between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. I told the girl that answered the phone that we did not need the mixer valve for the shower and instead needed him to make sure to bring out a check valve to install. Lo and behold, 4:00 p.m. came. 5:00 p.m. came. 6:00 p.m. came and no one called nor showed up. Obviously, doing the right thing eludes this company. We will file a complaint with Rinnai (who referred this company to us in the first place) on Monday and seek another plumbing contractor to come out and install a check valve. Note: replacing the mixer valve in the shower (which we did ourselves) did not resolve the problem. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT WE DID!

Not being a California native, I was unaware of just how bad these copper leaks got. JT took his time and went over every detail with me of what they were going to do. The team was very polite and I was grateful that everyone worked a 12 hour day just to make sure that the job was complete and ready for the remodeling company I had coming the next day.
