Moved in new house. 3:30 AM Sunday morning....no AC, 81 degrees in Lafayette, LA. Called builder in the morning....no call back, but the AC subcontractor came right out. Then found out, not one, but both hot water heaters weren't working....subcontractors came out....amazingly one of the water heaters had the electrical wires dangling next to it...not sure how they received certificate of occupancy.
Toilet running in one bathroom, not flushing correctly in another (6 flushes to empty toilet)....subcontractor came out, but the one that takes 6 flushes is still not working. Spoke to builder 2 days ago...nothing.
Grading in the yard....what a joke...it's a mudbog. Builder had told me he would grade correctly when we did walkthrough, but now he says he won't do anything.
Also, 3 ft of water in my garage any time it rains....any moron can see the grading on the driveway goes in that direction....again, builder said he won't do anything for it.
Lastly, had crack in patio on walkthrough. Builder said he would fix it....he did, but when I used a leaf blower to blow off grass after cutting the lawn, chunks of concrete starting coming up....guess what the builders response was??? LOL....nope, not fixing that either.
Unless he steps up and is a man of his word, would never use this builder again.
