I arranged to have Sears install a new water heater on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Lone Star Plumbing was contracted out to Sears to install my new water heater. The technician arrived at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14. He said he needed to find a new vent to replace my old one. He sounded hopeful that he would be able to get it by today and have it installed by tomorrow at the latest. I stayed at home expected to hear from him by the afternoon, but no one called me about a time frame to finish the install. Finally at 3:45 p.m. I called Sears to find out what was the holdup. I found out that the tech guy was not coming until the next morning to finish the install. No one at Lone Star Plumbing had communicated to me whatsoever about this delay. Sears guaranteed to get the water heater installed the same day. Lone Star should not be under contract with Sears unless they can meet Sears' promises to its customers.
