    Roof
    $17,000

Do not hesitate to call Ted Gulick for a quote to roof your home. Ted listened to all my concerns and scheduled the roofing job very quickly. He organized some other work with subcontractors, so I didn’t have to worry about finding reliable people for those jobs too. My home had 2 prior roofs on it, so there was a lot of tear-off work to do. Everything went according to plan. No surprisers, and no complaints. Ted showed up on time everyday and did everything he said he was going to do. I was grateful when he made suggestions, like adding an extra vent in my roof for a future kitchen fan that I plan to do someday. He communicates well and is very proactive. If you are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, and cleans up the mess everyday, give Ted a call. When I heard the Inspector say “Carry on gentlemen,” I knew things were going well. All of my neighbors have commented on how great my home looks. Thanks Ted! A+

replace a very old leaky metal roof on a lake cabin
    $29,000

We hired Ted Gulick to replace a leaking, very old metal roof on our lake cabin. This cabin was built in the 1930s, it's very rustic - nothing is square, level, or plumb, and the eaves were rotting away. Ted gave a detailed estimate of work that needed to be done, and included some options for "unknown conditions" that couldn't be clearly identified until the old roof was removed. His bid price was very fair, as were a few addendums needed as the job progressed. Ted is an excellent communicator, and kept us updated every step of the way. He pays attention to small details, has a good eye for esthetics, and keeps the job site very tidy as he works. The improvements he made, installing a new standing seam metal roof, squaring up the ends of the joists to straighten up the eves, making it bird and bee proof, adding a new facia, and coordinating with an electrical contractor for a new electrical service mounted on this roof, - are STUNNING. The old place has been transformed, and we could not be happier with both his process, and his fantastic results. He does what he says he was going to do, he shows up on time, and is a very pleasant person to work with. Ted has earned our highest praise and highest recommendation. We already have a future improvement project in mind, and are looking forward to working with him again. Dale and Rox W

    Repair roof

Last winter we had a tree fall on our house causing extensive damage. Having no experience in hiring contractors I was not sure who to call. Two different members of my family had work done by Ted on each of their houses. He came highly recommended. I can verify that this was indeed the case. Ted did a great job working with the insurance company and communicating with us during the process. Ted is committed to high quality work from start to finish.

    New Roof

We needed a considerable amount of storm restoration done on our home after the severe winter and the ice damning it produced.

We also needed help navigating the myriad details of the paperwork generated by our insurance company and their very low initial offers

We needed coaching and help in deciding the best end product of the work we were contemplating

And we of course wanted someone who is competent to do large and small scale construction work . . . someone meticulous but not fussy, and who is both genuine and flexible.

Having done business with other firms in the past we wanted people who were reliable, showed up on time, and kept their promises.

Most of all we wanted someone we could trust:
—To give us the appropriate and honest estimate of cost and timing.
—To do the work with quality so we wouldn’t need to have it re-done.
—To have a crew of honest and pleasant people to do the work.

We are very glad we chose Longevity, LLC to be our partners in what otherwise might have truly been a nightmare.

I called Ted Gulick about 8 years ago to get a bid on a sewer line replacement at my home. He scoped the sewer line and told me it was fine and no replacement was needed. That built my trust with him right away. Since then, Ted has done several projects for me including building 2 separate oversized stick built garages top to bottom, interior framing, large tear off and re-roof jobs, general consultations for my projects and so on. I can say from experience, it is very rare to meet a contractor that does what he says, shows up on time, communicates well and is just a great guy in general. Ted will be my go to for years to come. Thanks, Ted!

Outstanding work. Honest, dependable and just plain old awesome. He'll be there when he says he will and does high quality work.

I don't know what I would have done without Ted Gulick's help... I had a massive sewer issue that needed to be resolved quickly and fiscally. Ted was recommended to me by Rooter 911 and after a brief phone conversation, I knew he would be best for the job (and yes, I called around to other excavators!). And, best doesn't even describe it... the man not only got the job done legally, with proper permitting, but also found the underlying reason for the problem and went on to help me document all of the evidence. I live quite far from the home that was compromised and frankly, I don't know what I would have done without Ted being there so responsibly, managing every detail of the project. And, he put everything back together again in such a way that it looks like it was never even dug up in the first place! I can't say enough good things about the Gulick Company... Seriously folks, integrity, compassion, fiery work ethic, timeliness, friendliness... he may be perfect!!! I am forever in a debt of gratitude!

    Thank you again

We were past our deadline for connecting our house to the county sewer system in Spokane Valley, Washington. I am in my late 80's and was getting estimates for as much as ten thousand dollars. I am on a fixed income and could not afford to pay this much money and could not dream of digging the sewer myself. Ted heard we were in need and promptly came and solved our issues. He worked with the county and got us connected in no time. He gave us his cost plus 15% saving us a considerable amount of money. He knew what others wanted to do the job and did not take advantage of us. We would like to share with others what a great job he did. Thank you Ted.
