We feel any issues could have been handled to your liking and adjustments would have been made to ensure all were satisfied with this project. We would like to address several of the issues you mentioned here in relation to your project, specifically the main concern listed about delays and the longer time frame than you expected. The timeframe for your project's completion was generated and given to you at the beginning of the project, taking into account only the services you originally requested. As we began work on the originally requested remodel (building a porch addition off of a living room, replacing adjacent siding pieces, and replacing outdoor windows/doors ), several customer changes in plans and overall scope of work such as requesting mid-project that we remove a wall to open up your living room into the porch. These mid-project changes came with several unavoidable delays, such as applying for and securing a new city of Minneapolis construction permit, work stoppage while hiring and coordinating schedules with a structural engineer as the wall you requested be removed was a main load-bearing structural wall. After drawing up an entirely new structurally and code-complaint Layout Plan, specialty materials needed to be ordered as this aspect of the project was not agreed upon at the time of original contract. Changing Client design/wishes leads to inevitable delays, and we did not meet the originally projected end date, however the work originally requested and the work later added on was completed as quickly as possibly even with the increasing level of difficulty. Though we, as a small business with a solid reputation, feel this negative review is not an accurate representation, we do thank you for using LGP for your project and sincerely hope this explains the delays in your project which we understand could lead to some frustration.
