    Bedroom and Bathroom Renovations

    I would not hire Lookout Renovation again. We hired them to renovate our upstairs bathrooms and reconfigure a small bedroom into a walk-in closet. The carpenter assigned to the job was very nice (although his son-in-law apprentice carpenter was a disaster) but very slow. so the entire project took months when it should have been a matter of 3 - 4 weeks. The crown molding installed in the master bedroom has shrunk and cracked, the wall-to-wall vinyl sheet flooring splotched due to careless and inept work. However, several of the subs Dave brought in...notably the tile guy and the electrician were true professionals...did their work really well and moved on. Thank goodness. The carpenter complained about not being paid promptly by Dave, was always short of money to buy needed supplies, Dave himself went off on several family trips which caused additional delays (like not being around to pay the carpenter) and when I ordered a single unit fiberglass tub, shower and surround did not have enough sense or apparent experience as a home renovator to tell me it would never fit in the front door. Habitat for Humanity scored a big one on that mistake! Dave's a nice guy, but in the wrong field for the unwary homeowner.
