    $40,000

    Outstanding contractor. He is one of the hardest working and friendliest people we have ever met. He wasn't able to work magic, so our project did not get done on time due to some things that were completely out of his control like weather, material shortages, and so on, but the schedule we all agreed to was a "best guess" and impossible for anyone to 100% predict. He worked hard and in good faith and did an outstanding job, and we can't ask for more than that. Highly recommended.

    His knowledge of construction is reasonable. He displays poor management skills relevant to ensuring he schedules the sub-contractors/workers complete the work on time. The project is currently 4 weeks overdue with no communicated completion date as yet. Throughout the project, several days and weeks went by with minimal or no work being completed. He asked for a partial advance of the final payment, even though the project has not yet been completed (currently 4 weeks past the scheduled completion date) cover his un-anticipated expenses. He has demonstrated an unwillingness or an unawareness to communicate in a timely fashion; leaving us to wonder when or if he will show up to complete the project. We will likely not hire him for any future projects. Nor, we would we be inclined to recommend him to anyone.
