I would not refer this contractor, he has been working on rebuilding my porch for more than 10 days, he does not remove debris in a timely fashion and was cited by code enforcement, he sub-contracted non-English speaking workers without communication skills who attempted to use old wood mixed with new to repair the roof until I discovered it; and he then tore that out and used new plywood as he was supposed to; his work in substandard framing around windows and wood work is not mitered where it should be, knotted wood has been used to frame some of the wood work and he is arrogant and has poor communication skills himself. The materials used are substandard and the workers do not clean-up site before leaving for the day. Unless you want saw dust tracked thru you house, strangers using you facilities; and a littered lawn; I would not hire this person. I do note that his rating with you was substantially below others, and his bid was higher; my husband should have paid attention. Please remove him from you list so that no one else with have to endure this agony. We are very frustrated with him. I feel that he has taken advantage of the fact that my husband is elderly and has had a stroke to perform unethical haphazard work. I am also reporting him to the Better Business Bureau
