Loughlin & Oshiro Contractors LLC. was founded in 2008 by two local boys who built their reputation on hard work, honesty, and good quality construction. Their "no give up attitude" and endurance for quality building has lead them such jobs as Assagios Kahala, UPS Store Kahala, Pioneer Plaza, Kapiolani Medical Centers, Pas De Deux Dance Studios, Waimea Falls Park Renovations, Salon Kai Manoa, Kodama Koi Ponds, and on going design-build kitchen and bathroom renovation projects.

The two founders Reyn Y. Oshiro and Brian R. Loughlin have gained up to 20 years of building experience in both the commercial and residential fields. Oshiro and Loughlin not only work together but they grew up together. Their friendship has endured the test of time. Both Oshiro and Loughlin were born and raised on Oahu and grew up in Mililani. Since “Hana Bada Days” they have attended school together. Beginning at Mililani Uka elementary School, graduating from Mililani High School in 1993/94, and finally completing the Hawaii Carpenters Union’s Apprenticeship program. Over the years they both discovered their love for the building industry and entered the construction business for them selves. “Going to work with your best friend isn’t something everyone gets to do,” says Oshiro. “We were meant to do this kind of work. And together, do it well,” added Loughlin.

While still working as active members of the Hawaii Carpenters Union local 745, Oshiro and Loughlin quickly achieved foreman status and have had the great opportunity of working on a wide array of commercial projects under construction giants such as Dick Pacific, Swinerton Construction, Albert C. Koboyashi and Bek Inc. Such jobs include, Walmart Keaumoku, Pearl Harbor BEQ, Kaneohe Marine Base BEQ, Wheeler Airforce BEQ, Ford Island Navy Lodge, Hokua Towers, The Grand Waikikian. Ala Moana Block H Renovation, Goldbond Building renovations, Manele Bay Resort, The Lodge at Koele, Ward Gateway Center, Ward Center Renovations, Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center Revitalization, Musicians Union Rehearsal Hall, Keola Lai Towers, Le Jardin Academy, Watermark Towers, Waikiki Beach Walk, and 909 Kapiolani.
