Louie’s Floor Covering is a family owned and operated store that has been in business in Des Moines for more than 50 years.
We sell and install carpet, carpet squares, prefinished wood flooring, wood laminate, ceramic tile, VCT tile, and vinyl flooring. We also install tile for Jacuzzi’s and fireplace hearths.
We provide quality flooring and perfect flooring installation. We have a full-time measuring professional on staff that will visit your home or business to measure out the area to be covered. He makes sure the room is measured accurately to ensure a perfect fit every time. He’s known in his trade as the best. We are proud to have Francis as part of our flooring team!

We had an incredibly tight schedule and several flooring needs. Rick at Louie's stayed in contact every step of the way. They were helpful and always went above and beyond in answering questions and sorting out any issues we might have both in the store and over the phone. Our tight deadline was met despite having prepared myself for disappointment. They made it work and there wasn't a single hiccup along the way. Doesnt hurt that their prices were so much more reasonable than other places. Customer service, low prices, and fabulous quality both in the product and the installation. I'll never use or recommend another place again!
