Gary and Albert were able to fix a job that was done incorrectly. They followed through, which is hard to find these days and did a great job. We have what we wanted, our cabinets are now covered/protected by a properly fitting counter top. They were professional, clean and easy to work with!

First the good news: Gary helped us save a lot of money by recommending we purchase our sink and faucet from the build.com warehouse in Chico and when the faucet was missing some of the hardware, he took it upon himself to find what was needed. He was also very helpful in steering us to less expensive granite suppliers in Sacramento. However, despite giving him nearly two months' notice AND being in New Zealand for nearly a month (during which time he promised to have the kitchen remodel completed) he didn't even start on the job until the day before we were due back. Moreover, no attempt was made to screen off the kitchen from the rest of the house. Consequently, we returned to an absolute mess. We had asked if we needed to empty our kitchen drawers and he told us "no," yet they were full of old grout and dust. We had to borrow a shop vac to clean it all up. On top of that, when cleaning their tools his assistant scraped grout off on our deck and threw it around our yard. And even after he was finished, he promised to come back to polish out a seam that was left unpolished; despite several calls to him, he never returned. We would absolutely NOT recommend using this installer. The work he did was quite good (except for some rather sloppy work with some of the tile back-splash), but Gary proved to be completely unreliable. This may have only been due to some personal domestic problems he was experiencing at the time, but I would not take a chance with him on another project as he did not honor his contract with us and the work was less than fully satisfactory.
