Having lived in a property managed by Lowtide, my experience has been less than ideal. The most recent incident involved an unfortunate mishap with their chosen cleaning contractor, Horgan Enterprises. My valuable collection of spices, which I've spent years curating from travels around the globe, were prematurely discarded by the cleaning team they coordinated.

While they eventually made an attempt to address some of the misplaced items, the overall communication process with Lowtide was cumbersome. They took a prolonged period to direct me towards resolution avenues, causing unnecessary distress.

Furthermore, throughout my stay, I found them to be not particularly responsive and often had to contend with poor communication. At times, they bordered on being invasive, especially when showing my apartment to potential tenants for the subsequent year, infringing upon my personal space.

For anyone considering a property managed by Lowtide, I'd recommend being proactive in your communications and setting clear boundaries early on.

Ben Tuck is the definition of a slumlord. Leaving his tenants without heat, washer dryer that does not properly wash clothes, basement with flooding, bathroom with mold spores. A kitchen dishwasher that was broken for over a month after request for it to be repaired a kitchen sink that broke down during the same time that also stayed broken for a week, and then after emails and calls told the tenants to fix the problem themselves because he was on a family vacation in Florida. A bedroom was found to have a moisture problem and after a month of emails only responded to the problem after threats of legal actions and told the tenant to take all the belongs out of the room including bed, bureaus and clothes and move them somewhere else for 2-3 days and also find a place to stay. He said he would neither help or compensate for anyuthing during this time. I would not recommend to anyone to go through him. Very unprofessional and even when a issue is explained he thinks it is something else which takes even longer. Ben does not even deserve to look after animals. Horrible person and landlord.

    I rented from them

I rented a 6 bedroom from this company and had an awful experience! Do not go to them. I came in to the apartment and it was in deplorable shape, despite the landlord arguing his guys had already cleaned it. We wound up having to hire a cleaning crew ourselves to get the mold out of the showers. All breakdowns throughout the year were never addressed in a timely fashion. The email communication was so poor (totally grammatically incorrect) that it was hard to even understand what point their people were trying to get across. Finally, despite leaving the apartment in better shape than we found it, we were then charged with a cleaning fee!! Total double standard. Avoid these guys like the plague.

I rented a five bedroom apartment that was listed and advertised as ''newly referbished." It was not, and our landlord who is part of 'Low Tide Development' had lost his history of rental payments not ole once but twice, he then threatens to serve us and take us to court, twice. We replied with our hosiery of payment with proof of receipt on both accounts.
