    fix hot water heater

Had to go through home warranty for water heater repairs. No hot water. Xavier came out and stated it needed a new element. He proceeded to complete work. He released the pressure release valve on the top to make the water heater drain faster(which is not necessary). After repairs completed the next day hot water heater was dumping water out the over flow that is connected to pressure valve. Loyalty refuses to come out and fix as it is a "new" problem. Home warranty refuses as they do not cover "leaks". This is one SHADY business. Your tech is the direct reason for the leak and wont stand by what has happened. I hope I never see your company name come across any media platforms. I will make sure to express my opinion on how shady Loyalty really is. But don't worry it has been repaired by another plumbing company for a fraction of what you would have charged me. I only wish I could rate Loyalty a zero star cause thats your true worth

Very bad service. They came out for a plumbing issue in my rental. They left without fixing it and didn't even reach out and explain what was the problem and why they didn't fix it. I tried to reach them numerous times. They never answered the phone and never respond to voicemail. Very very bad service. All they did was to collect service fee.

    Water Heater

Had an AHS claim for water heater and was assigned Loyalty for service. Loyalty called the afternoon of the day I filed the claim and arranged an inspection appointment two days out, called on route showed up and assessed the situation. AHS provided a new water heater and Loyalty showed up on time and in less then one hour on-site removed old unit and installed a new Raheem water heater. Cost was $150.00.
This whole situation could not have gone any better….Thanks AHS and Loyalty Home Service.

    Plumbing services

Like many reviews, I got them through AHS. Do not use these people. Rudest, worst customer service ever. Specifically, the dispatcher, Alex. When I tried to add on another issue through AHS, AHS told me that Loyalty told them they could not because the technician was already on the way. They were not acocmodating at allm because it could have been a quick 2 minute job. So then I called Loyatly directly and that is when I spoke with Alex,
to see if there was any work around. I totally get that everything has to be scheduled and that they have other customers, and so forth, but Alex was rude and not understanding at all about it. I asked to speak with the manager/owner, and Alex said she already spoke with the owner and that he said he would refuse the job as well. You would think they would want the extra business, and that if they could not add on the job, they would have alternatives or suggestions, but nope. When I threatened to write a bad review, Alex told me she would just cancel the job all together and would not let the tech come do the work.

    $250

This plumber/company is just so so bad. Like, so bad. They were assigned to us through American Home Shield to repair a toilet with a weak flush. Not only did they come over for 4 minutes to say, we cannot repair the toilet, but they DESTROYED the toilet by scratching it up terribly. Now it looks like there are marks all over the toilet and it's dirty. I'm actively try to petition to AHS to remove this horrible company from their vendor list. Stay away!

    repair inoperable water heater
    $150

Loyalty Home Services is a crooked company, a SCAM. After being under AHS warranty for the 14 years we have owned the home our water heater quit working. Our water heater was not required to have a thermal switch when purchased, but because Loyalty thought all water heaters SHOULD have thermal switches they declared it had a "missing part", which gave LHS in collusion with AHS an unethical loophole to declare it not being under warranty. The "missing part" had absolutely nothing to do with the water heater stopping working. DO NOT EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, USE LOYALTY HOME SERVICES.

    Water Heater
    $150

Loyalty Home Services was provided to us by our home warranty company. Our water heater broke on a Thursday and we requested service. Loyalty provided an appointment the next morning. The plumber, Josh was great and explained to us our issue. We were given a replacement water heater in just a few days. I'm very satisfied with their services and would recommend them to a friend.

    garbage disposal
    $300

This company was provided to me by American Home Shield Home Warranty. The technician called me on the way, showed up on time and was very professional. He replaced my garbage disposal fast and was very clean and with everything. I am very happy with the service and company.

    faucet problems

The company was supplied through American Home Shield. In a nutshell, I would NEVER use them again. Poor attitude in the office. Made an adjustment on my water pressure but couldn't/wouldn't tell me how they set it. Maybe it gets worse, but I would take the chance...didn't care for the attitude or the service

    replace water heater
    $200

I don't understand the rating for this company. I have had nothing but excellent service 2 times that they have come out to my house. Mark was my plumber and was excellent. He was on time and and thorough. He replaced my water heater with a brand new one. He left my garage cleaner than he found it.

    Fix a toilet
    $0

We call AHS to fix our toilet. Loyalty Home Services called us within fifteen minutes to schedule an appointment for that same day. Gilbert came to our home and explained the situation and went to Home Deport to get the parts he needed to fix it. He had the toilet fixed in no time and it runs great. The noise and water have stopped running. I would not hesitate to use them again. Especially Gilbert! Thank you for such great work.

Very dissatisfied, like many people on here AHS sent this company to my house, the tech Jesse spent not even 5 minutes in my home to tell me our leak was from excessive pressure which may be the case however absolutely no follow up to share that the home warranty will not fix this issue yet they took payment no problem. When we contacted the home warranty company the rep reported that Jesse had told them a higher pressure than I witnessed with my own eyes! That is a fraudulent report and terrible customer service DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE

    water heater leak
    $225

I would never recommend Loyalty Home Services. I was given their name by American Home Shield warranty to fix my water heater. I am a fairly new homeowner so all this is new to me. Gilbert came and said it would be an additional $125 for the TNP value even though the TNP value is part of the water heater. He claimed it was a modification even though the water heater can't work without it. I just needed it done and said okay. He then said someone would be out to see if there was any water damage. I knew there wasn't any water damage because I caught the leak quickly, but said okay because I really wasn't sure. EcoDry comes and says to go though my home insurance, not warranty. They took over my claim with the home insurance for insurance fraud. I am fighting with EcoDry now but I would have NEVER been in contact with EcoDry had it not been for Gilbert, taking it upon himself to contact EcoDry even though it was outside of his job or home warranty. Useless. Waste of money and time. Home warranty should cover all required parts...not just because vendor says its a modification when it clearly isn't.

    water heater
    $0

total scammers. just like the other reviewers said, stay away from these unqualified incompetent hacks. they get their bread and butter by scamming home warranty customers by claiming standard install materials are "modifications". the loser they sent out actually stole parts from our old unit so not only are they scammers but they are also thieves! do yourself a favor and find a qualified plumber

    $75

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!. This is Louis T. in Glendale, AZ.
Repairman shows up, didnt even touch unit. took a photo, claimed its a solar system (its not) has a auxillary panel that feeds through same standard lines into a standard water heater. He claimed he was going to his truck to call American Home Shield and call me right back.
HE LEFT! NO CALL! NO EXPLANATION! JUST GONE!
This is a joke. I called their number, she (Alex) had no explanation, she told me to call home warranty to see if they know whats going on!!
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! DO NOT ACCEPT THEM FROM YOUR HOME WARRANTY!

OH! He happily accept the $75 sevice call fee!!!

    Faucet repairs

We had this company sent to look at a few faucets through our home warranty. The guys were very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Would use them again if needed in the future!

  • September 12, 2015

These guys are horrible. The insurance company sent these clowns over to change a faucet. They went back and forth ordering many times and then they could not change the faucet. First, they did not order the part. I had to chase them down and contact the insurance company for that. Then they did not show up for the appointment that they scheduled twice ; at the end they did not know how to shut off the hot water to change the faucet. And worst of all during these steps, they do not communicate with you at all. You have to call them many times, then they say their boss will call you in the evening. And that guy is the main idiot....extremely rude person...He will not help you solve the problem, he will scream at you "if you are upset call the insurance company and change the contractor". When you call him directly. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.

    Loyalty home service

Our home warranty company sent these jokers out to replace my water heater. We had some water damage from the leak. The guy gets out his moisture tester and determines we have damage all along our wall. They wanted us to use their dry out friends to dry out the walls. We said no. We asked them to set up the water heater on a temporary basis till we could get the dry out done and they said no to that. They were mad that we wouldn't use their team to dry out. When the dry out team came we found out that the damage was not as they said it was and was only in a small area. A week later they came out to put in the water heater and charged me 125 dollars to hook up the pressure release valve. the home warranty company said that they had listed that as a modification and would not pay it. That is part of a regular install. Do Not Use this company they are not honest.

  • April 29, 2015

Initially they came but afterwards NEVER returned phone calls. Still had an issue problem and refused to come back with no explanation. I had to make phone calls elsewhere to find out what was going on, the owner explained it was a different issue. I said I would pay and he still refused to fix the problem...so busy...and made me feel guilty. What type of business is this? They are supposed to help the customer! Why are they even in business?

Get a second or third quote before you go with LHS

LHS was contacted by American Home Shield to do a quote on my home. The quote included 3 shower heads/value leaking and LHS quoted replacements and to install a pressure reducer at my home. Since LHS said the over pressure to the house not old age caused failure to the valve American Home Shield would not cover 12 years old parts. Since LHS tested the home pressure to be high it was the reason why 12 year valves in my house just started leaking umh. So I had City of Gilbert test the pressure (82) and I got 3 other plumbers quotes. Seems that LHS are twice the cost of others and those 12 year old valve guts needed to be changed do to simple old age. So thank you to Home Depot, Young Repairs and Majesty Plumbing for your quotes and repair that was done quickly and half the cost of LHS. I give LHS 3 stars because they did come out the next day, which is a plus in the industry.
