    Room addition
    $30,000

    Horrible...... gave me a lowball quote to put on a one room addition so I give him 4500 for the engineer to draw up the plans. Then he decides to “ step aside” from the project and leaves me hangin so now I’m out 4500 and no one will touch the job for under 50 k when his estimate was 31k!!! Doesn’t know what he is doing

    I contacted the owner of this company (Mr. Lazano) yesterday (6/23/11) who promised to come to my residence at 10: AM today. More than an hour went by with no show or call. After my contacting Mr. Lazano on his cell phone to find out whether or not he was coming to my residence to quote the project, he stated that he was too busy and would give me a quote by telephone within an hour. More than 2 hours had passed since my call with no callback from Mr. Lazano. Again I called Mr. Lazano on his cell phone and inquired as to the status of my verbal quote.

    Mr. Lazano stated that he had forgotten about it, and that he would call me back latter this evening with his quote. I informed Mr. Lozano not to bother, that as far as I was concerned he could not be trusted, and that I no longer wanted to consider doing business with him.

    Point that I am trying o make here: The essence of sincerity is being genuine. When you are sincere, you are believable. Believability is the foundation to building trust in any relationship. Trust is critical to business. People tend to do business with people they trust. While you have that trust, the business relationship is solid, but lose the trust, and the relationship is in jeopardy.
    Beware of this contractor.
