I would NOT recommend using this company or individual name, Kendric Higgins, who may be the owner and only employee. I contacted him, needing a roof inspection report and quote for repairing a 7500 sqft medical building that a client was purchasing. I needed to present to an insurance company for claims and contract negotiations. I explained that the last company was giving me the run-around. He agreed he could do it at the same rate the other company charged, $250. A few days later, I got an invoice, which I paid immediately. In an email, I received a one-page repair price quote; there was no itemization, no detailed description of the issue, and no pictures of the damage. It was something I could have written up myself. I wrote him and explained that I asked for a roof inspection report and a quote, but what he gave me was just a quote and poorly executed. He said he would correct it, and the next day I got what was supposed to be the inspection report, which was two short paragraphs explaining the damage; still no pictures of damage, no detailing, just really elementary.
I explained to him that this is not what an inspection report looks like and I could not possibly present this to an insurance company. At this point, I see that he does not have the capability to give me what I need, so I ask for a refund or at least partial for some of the time he put in. He ignored me, and after several attempts to contact him, he wrote and told me that he was a contractor and not an inspector and was doing me a favor. First of all, his website says, 'Call for roof inspections,' Secondly, how are you doing me a favor, and I paid you? He refused to refund me, saying he had to spend $100 on a report he had never presented. He is unprofessional and terrible at documentation; a child could write a better report. He thought he would get a quick buck by charging $250 for a 1-page non-itemized quote on a cheap letterhead. I ended up going with the original company, which provided me with a 25-page detailed report with pictures of the damages and a detailed itemized quote for $250. Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN! He is just trying to get a quick buck; any real professional who wants business and referrals would do the right thing. He says he doesn't care about bad reviews because he has a 'tool' for that, so I doubt his other reviews are authentic. BEWARE!
