    Luigi was recommended to me through a client. This client is a landlord and has multifamily properties. We do the turnover cleaning where everything has to be as clean as it can possibly be for the new tenant to move in. That means whatever's broken worn out or not working properly has to be repaired or replaced. As a landlord myself and a property owner I asked her if she had any contractor she could recommend. Someone she's personally worked with and could vouch for them. Being in my industry for over 30 years and dabbling in real estate as well. I needed a contractor that had a good crew behind them. The preferred contractor for me would have good communication skills. Would answer the phone when I called. Would show up an do what they say they were going to do. I've worked with Luigi on several projects now. He's my contractor of choice. He's local in the Worcester area. I've referred him to other people that needed projects done. He answers his own phone. He works with a wonderful team of skilled professionals. They include wonderful plumbers, finish carpentry specialists, extremely knowledgeable electricians, cabinet installation crew, general handyman jack of all trade specialists. Luigi's and his crew are a pleasure to work with and gets the job done. He and his crew are easy to talk to and are able to explain everything. Which to me is very important. I need to know a lot and I ask a lot of questions. Luigi's company pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend Luigi N. Algieri of Alieri Design, Build, Remodel as a contractor that can build or repair just about anything from the ground up to the roof.     $60k job, stairs, bathroom, hardwood floors (worst install I’ve ever seen). never finished one single item properly. Stairs to 2nd floor out of service for 2 months on a 5 week job estimate. Went out of pocket for $10k to finish the job. Lied, delayed, hired unqualified 3rd parties.

    RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM LUIGI ALGIERI

    Basically a very smooth con artist. A thief. Shows up only to get paid. Hires subcontractors that are not competent. Lied about being licensed. Never pulled building permits. Tools, air compressor, wet-dry vacuum cleaner owned by me all disappeared while his subs were on-site. To say that the work was shoddy would be an understatement. New walls were installed with huge bows, new floors were built that were not level enough to accept tile, installed cabinets that didn't fit, oven door could not be opened due to interference with cabinets, electrical work that was unsafe.
    After my kitchen remodel project went over the contracted time by five weeks he stopped showing up. No response to phone calls or certified letters. Had to hire additional carpenters and electrician to finish project.
    Appears to have changed name of business to AZ Construction Corp. Changed name of owner to Richard Zona. Address still the same. 368 Lincoln St, Worcester

    Took 90% of total payment - completed 1/3 of the job and I can not find him any more. He never pulled the permit, work is not up to code. Do not hire Luigi Algieri.

    Don't hire this guy, he works under different names and he is a rip off from the get go. He will give you a good design, and promise the world then takes the money and good luck with getting him to finish or even come back and fix what he has already done.

    If there was a half star that's what this crook would get. Cant believe he is still working and ripping people off. Happy to take the money and happy to drag the job out forever and then do it half way. Do not be fooled by his smooth talk of design and ideas, his work basically is like an amateur. That would be bad enough its the time and fact that he wouldn't finish my kitchen / addition job.

    Luigi is a gigantic scam! 6 month project turns into 2 years. He left my house gutted down to the studs and ran away with over $40,000. I had to hire someone else to finish the job. He ruined my family and i's life!

    Never hire this contractor, he is unprofessional and his final work is shoddy. A 10 week renovation became a 2 year nightmare. Finally finished the work with another contractor. Happy to show up in the beginning, take the money, but did not complete the job.

    You be the judge: Project: complete bathroom renovation. Nice design. Estimate: 4-6 weeks; after 18 weeks, BR was usable, but not done. Project started without permits. Not done ONE YEAR later. Cracked mirror, screws protruding from drawer fronts, cracked grout, no final inspection. Contractor stopped responding to phone calls and emails. Note that his license is not active.

    Luigi did our kitchen remodel 6 months ago. We found him to be very professional and we were amazed at the design ideas he came up with. He had great solutions to our issues that no other designers thought of. Was on budget, took a little longer than expected but over all was a great experience. We would use him again and recommend him
