On 3/2/2017, a contract was signed with Luis General Contracting. Immediately on the next day and weather permitting, they started scraping off the old paint (outside only). On 3/6/17 Luis approached me for an advance payment of $3000.00. From 3/6/17 to 4/15/17 the house was mostly painted but many details were missed. Many days were unfortunately of bad weather which could contribute to the decrease of the presence to continue the work. Another part of the contract was to replace the back deck frame and poles. The frame was completed and we installed the first 8 new poles. They showed up days after and installed a few more poles but didn't have enough to finish it. Another day, he brought the remaining poles and we have to installed the ourselves as this project was turning a bit longer for completion .On 4/15/17 I was approached by Luis again asking for an additional $2000.00, Every day became a dilemma trying to reach him as even on perfect sunny days, no one showed up and he claimed they did but no advance on the work was noticed. Many times he called us and saying he was at home, which to our surprise we were at home that day and they were not in the premises. On 4/20/17, another $2,000.00 was provided to contractor leaving only $1,000.00 owed from the total agreement. It’s been very frustrating to contact them every day and there is still plenty of the accorded work to be finish. Last week, from Thursday to Saturday was perfect weather but after many attempts. He didn't answer to all emails, text messages and phone messages.
This company is the worst company that I have been ever dealt with in many years I do not recommend it to anyone they have no word and always putting useless excuses and lies at all times, therefore I give the worst recommendation that can be given to a company. -0 -0 -0
