  MOST UNPROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR EVER!!!!!

  ANYONE LOOKING FOR A CONTRACTOR STAY AWAY FROM LUJAN ELITE CONCRETE! THIS GUY COMES ACROSS VERY CORDIAL AND NICE WHEN FIRST MEETING WITH YOU TO GET YOUR BUSINESS BUT AS SOON AS HE RECEIVES HIS INITIAL PAYMENT A WHOLE OTHER SIDE COMES OUT.
  We hired this contractor for a second driveway, and we were impressed by how he worked with the city to meet their requirements and get started. He met with the inspector for the preconstruction inspection and from there it all went to hell in a handbasket. He cut TOO short, so it did not pass the second inspection, and instead of being a professional and going to correct the cut; he proceeds to call the inspector and the homeowner LIARS, sending nasty texts about how it was not his fault! Even though HE signed the permit with the specs, it somehow was STILL not his fault! He had the NERVE to say he would need another $2,000 for the correction otherwise we could find another contractor. In his pissing contest with the homeowner, he said would return $600 of the $3,000 given him to start the job!! Only problem with that is he is the one who signed the permit for the city to do the work so he would have to put everything back (sideway, curb and gutter) losing money if he walked away. From there he delayed the project weeks; first with illness for son, then he used “Covid” all the while leaving the sideway unbarricaded creating a hazard for pedestrians, so much so that the city came out and wrote a corrective action notice and wanted to backfill with asphalt and charge HIM for it since he left the work unbarricaded, the INSPECTOR put up cones since this guy could not be bothered. He finally agreed to come out and did such a piss poor job of recutting and grading that AGAIN it failed inspection. When told it didn’t pass inspection, he was argumentative that it was done right, so he is NEVER wrong! This guy can’t even be bothered to meet with the inspectors for inspection. He HIDES!! Fact is he didn’t even compact the dirt, didn’t graded CORRECTLY and EVENLY so he had parts that were 6” and some 4”, yet according to him it was “ready”. Instead of coming out to correct his SLOPPY work he says he is on “vacation” and cannot come out and if he can’t pour then this project gets put off for 3 weeks as he is EXTREMELY busy!! The homeowner did the work of CORRECTING this guy’s sloppy work and meeting with the inspector and getting the approval for the pour since this guy is full of himself, he cannot do the job! While the morning of the pour went smoothly, mainly because the inspector showed up as NO ONE trusts this guy’s work at this point! After the inspector left his moron proceeded to POUR concrete on the street and left it creating an environmental hazard on the street, so once again the inspector did not approve the final inspection! If that is not bad enough this joke expected his money right then and there even though it had not been re-inspected and when told he would need to wait until the inspector gave us the go ahead; he threatens to put a lien on our property for non-payment. The city supervisor called him about his EPA violation, and he didn’t bother to return his call either! This guy had the nerve to blame the concrete truck EVEN though we have HIM on camera dumping it!! Every mistake is someone’s else fault! His texts are juvenile, he loves using “LOL” as it is apparent, he lacks any professionalism. With all this drama he has the nerve to ask if he could be paid in CASH as he wants it under the table!! And finally, he tells the nerve to offer the homeowner to call him if he ever needs any other project!! We so disgusted with this contractor that we are filing a complaint with the CSLB, calling EPA on his hazardous dumping into a drain and I want EVERYONE to know what they will get if they hire this POS!!! I have ALL the texts and emails showing everything I have said is TRUE and FACTUAL!!
