His business practices are terrible...We had to call his subs one by one to finish the project. The problem was that we had already paid the contractor to pay his subs...So we paid the subs again...The contractor ran out of money...the project was grossly underbid.. The contractors communication skills are horrible, he doesn't show up to the work sight when he would tell us he would. He would also tell us how "broke" he was. Gross mismanagement of the project. He has no self accountability on what he had done to grossly underbid this project. We finally finished the project, but still have to complete inspections . We had to modify some things that he did wrong so we could pass inspection. Of course we had to hire another contractor to complete these modifications. To be fair he does have good ideas and has a good artistic eye, but terrible business sense... I would not hire this contractor. However...the subs he works with were wonderful.
