Con man. Mentioned he would lie to the warranty company we use, which he partners with, to get us a new furnace along with the AC unit which is not working, if we would agree to pay him 6k for the new set up. He said was a "great deal because he sells us the unit at cost and cinch barely covers labor". When I mentioned I wasn't sure we even needed a new furnace because it was fine when we moved in in December & he got weird and said he would come back to the house to charge the AC unit in 2 days. He never showed. When I followed up the afternoon he was expected he said he would let the warranty company know they needed to send another company to make a diagnosis because he couldn't tell what was wrong with our unit, though he never actually spent any time looking at it. He never ended up alerting the warranty company like he said he was going to so the service request sat from Friday to Monday until I finally called myself and asked for a new service provider. We initially made the request on a Tuesday and tomorrow it will have been a week without AC. Joe was negligent, sketchy, and if he's willing to lie to the business partner that feeds him leads, he would definitely lie to homeowners. I read another review on the BBB that he installed a broken unit and is refusing to fix anything. (probably why he sells units to homeowners so "cheap" - broken units are a "great deal") - Thank Goodness I know red flags when I see them.

Joe should be put out of business. Did not pull a permit for our installation and did not commission the furnace, which is required. Fly by night, shady.

Joe came out and installed a new AC unit, and it doesn't work. Then he refused to return to fix it, arguing that it was unreasonable of me to expect a rapid solution - for which he was paid ahead of time - in front of a pending 90* weekend. If you want a unit installed incorrectly, just do it yourself.

What a great find! We called our home warranty to have our air conditioning fixed during the heat wave! Joe showed up really quickly and provided great service. Very professional, very knowledgeable and gave great tips on maintaining our unit. Joe is very honest and loves his job. I wish there were more people in the trades like Joe. He fixed a few big issues with our air conditioning. I will be using Joe and will refer him to all of my friends or neighbors.

By Maria H.July 10, 2020Warranty company hired them to look at AC
Our AC still isn’t fixed!! Joe from Lund wanted us to pay him on the side to get a whole new AC unit, but he didn’t want to change out our coil and do it right. He then never responded to my reach-outs after he left our house. We were left not knowing if our AC was covered by warranty or if someone was coming back out to fix it. We just assumed Joe was busy. I had to call the warranty co. to check our status (which got denied). Now have to call warranty co. back and have them send a new company out. We’re very unhappy with Lund. What a joke. We have 3 little kids including a newborn and have to stay at my mom’s on hot days. Would NOT recommend ever!!

Joe with Lund Heating was great! Excellent communication. Went above and beyond to come out on a service call after hours. Prompt resolution of the problem.

I wish I had read these reviews before I let Joe install a new air conditioning unit in my home. It was under warranty from my home warranty company. He said when the new unit came, it fell off of the truck but he had me covered and he installed another unit he had. I should have known. Then he charged me a large sum of money for services he didn't complete. Then, when the air conditioner didn't work, he told me it was my furnace filter, which had just been changed. Got a new tech out from a reputable company, and the unit wasn't even hooked up. I was even charged for "permits" to install the unit, and I called the village and no permits were required or purchased. Buyer beware. I am out $2000 for services not received. SCAM Artist
