One star is not a low enough rating for this owner and his incompetent crew. He misrepresented his ability to properly install a very expensive deck with a high-tech cable railing system contracted In excess of $18,000. The project was to be completed within two weeks and was still not completed to satisfaction more than three months later. The workers, who had no experience with the railing system, were instructed on how to install the railing and cable by watching a video on the owner's smart phone resulting in mistakes and do-overs on a daily basis. Final payment was held back waiting for the job to be properly completed until this 69 year old widowed homeowner was intimidated by one of the workers while the owner was on the phone demanding full payment with the promise that work would be completed by the end of the following week. Owner Jeffrey Horne has never completed the job, with an estimated $2,000 worth of work left to be done and refuses to answer or return phone calls. Stay away from this dirtball!
Good luck to East Orange, NJ. You will probably never get your money back. Horne will just not do any work in Jersey until he can run under the radar. The Guy is a real unscrupulous snake.

Do not use this contractor. I paid him a $10,000 deposit on a new roof and he never came to install it. After months of postponement and false promises, I cancelled the job and asked for my money back. He refused to reimburse me so I took him to court and won but he never paid the judgement. Don't believe a word he says. He is a liar and a thief.
