    Lytton Enterprises built us our dream house. Tim Lytton is a multigenerational home builder who knows the A to Z of new construction to remodeling/renovation as well as commercial building. Tim helped us work our floor plan until we were completely happy with it. His architect/engineer, Leslie, made great suggestions on what we envisioned to make it reality. All of his subcontractors had nothing but great things to say about their experience working with him. Tim exceeded expectations across the board. He was on site daily making sure the work was getting done correctly and on time. He was an excellent communicator during our project. He always returned calls and texts. We recommend Tim and Lytton Enterprises to anyone interested in a great contractor who takes pride in what he does.

    This contractor should be a car salesman instead! He's a cutthroat to other contractors and does a terrible job!!! First of all, he made several mistakes and took a lot of short cuts. When calling him out on everything, he got someone else to start coming out and wouldn't speak with us. After he wasn't happy about us calling him out on everything, he put a false lein on us. We had to hire an attorney to get removed. He tried to get $10,000 extra out of us. Which didn't work. We finally moved in about 4 months ago and the showers didn't work right, the heater quit and the outside wasn't finished. My husband had to pay someone else to finish the outside. This list just is so long, I can't even begin to tell it all. I've talked to 4 other parties and they have the same legitimate things happen to them. Just a strong warning, beware of this contractor because he's got a reputation for doing this kind of thing to several people and then wants to hire the same attorney and try to make you pay for an unfinished home and try to make you believe it's what you asked for. Again, he should be a used car salesman. He talks fast and he knows he's lying to you when his mouth is moving. Nothing against used car salesmen, but there are some fast talkers. Buyers BEWARE!!!

    New home build

    We contacted Mr Lytton about building a new home for our family. He seemed very interested in working with us and building our new home. We met several times, and he priced a few different homes for us, according to our needs and budget.
    When we settled on a home plan ad he gave us a price, we met to finalize everything and get started. Although he still seemed genuinely interested in building the house, we left the meeting feeling like our questions werent really answered.
    A couple weeks later, Mr Lytton gave us a price sheet for the bank so we could close on the loan. The price was considerably higher than what he had been telling us. I contacted him about the cost of certain permits we were unsure of, and to get a real contract to show the bank and close the loan. His responses were few and far between. I attempted to contact him through text and by phone, but after a few weeks, he stopped contacting us all together.
    We still have no idea why he chose to stop working with us, as he will not communicate his reasoning. Had he told us that he wasn't interested in continuing the project with us, we could have saved ourselves months of time and effort. Now we have to start over from scratch with another contractor.
    Due to my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Lytton Enterprises to anyone.
