    Fire Damage repair
    $9,300

    We signed a contract with Michael Singleton the owner of M-G Singleton Construction to complete a fire repair at our home on October 18, 2021. He was paid the full amount of $9,300 per his contract on October 18, 2021. Michael Singleton's crew didn't start repairs until October 20th. His crew was here at the set
    10:00 am time, but Micheal didn't show up until 11:20 am. The signed contract states that his company will replace 20 Smoke & broken Hardi Board-Siding, but only 9 Hardi boards were replaced. He tried to paint over 6 fire-damaged Hardi boards and didn't replace fire/smoke damaged 5 boards at all. He assured us that everything will look brand new prior to a signed contract, and what he and his company provided was very poorly done. I have several emails asking him when will work start, the progress, and our expectations of the work that needs to be completed. As of today, November 21, 2021, Michael Singleton the owner of M-G Singleton Construction has yet to respond to my emails or schedule an appointment to come back to complete the work to our home. I do not recommend Michael Singleton the owner of M-G Singleton Construction for any work.

    Still waiting on completion of work a year later

    Hired this company to renovate 2 bathrooms, installing tile, removing old cabinetry, installing new cabinetry - deconstructing pantry to install new refrigerator and then installing new pantry. Work started in May 2013. As of today, the work still has not been completed and owner's excuse is that he "ran out of money" although he was paid in full. I've had no contact with Mr. Singleton in over two months. Sent a certified letter to his company address only to find out it's his mother's home address. Please reconsider contacting this company.
