WHO: We are a very high quality Design/Build HVAC mechanical contractor established in 1971 and domiciled in Mineola, New York.
WHAT: We design, engineer, install and service air-conditioning and heating systems, (including reciprocating chillers, PTAC units, VRF split systems, gas-powered A/C), fresh-air/exhaust, humidification, energy recovery, remote building management and passive HVAC technology systems. In 2015 we assisted in the design and engineering on the first totally passive brownstone in Manhattan.
WHERE: High-End apartments, condos, co-ops, townhouses, brownstones and hotels in Manhattan. We also handle museums, commercial, retail, sacred space, preservation, renovation and have worked on NYC Landmarked Buildings.
WHEN: Monday through Friday – 8:00AM – 5:00PM

- Building permit records show that M Lapenna Refrigeration has worked on 37 permitted projects.
Would not recommend them. They came twice and did not fix the AC — simply replaced filer and turned machine on and off. Despite my complaints, they did not offer to resolve matter and simply pestered to get invoices paid for poor service. Disappointing
