I am a widowed senior citizen.
Much sales pressure was applied throughout evening prior to my signing contact in my home. More than half the total amount due was required: $5375. The contract was quickly haphazardly reviewed, and definitely not in its entirety, prior to both our signatures being in place. Work done the following morning, not part of the contacted work, was sloppily completed and paid for in its entirety: $580. A stop payment call to my bank indicated that he had quickly cashed my checks. The morning of 7/10 I sent a notarized certified overnight delivery mail to the NOT CURRENT address atop the contract. The morning of the 13th one of his workers attempted to drop off, unannounced, items needed to achieve a drop down stairs attic access. This was not a project I had agreed to do.I refused delivery and told driver to advise Mario re the letter of cancellation of services. That evening an irate, demanding, exceptionally rude, threatening and intimidating call from Ramirez promised I would have no money returned, I would pay the balance due, and I would pay thousands of dollars in court to attorneys. As he ranted, I quietly hung up, unwilling to do business with anyone lacking adult manners and communication skills. A followup email from him suggested we meet in my home to resolve this. He is not welcome in my home, and I have concluded that conversationally we are incompatible. There are many more examples of his evasive and manipulative unprofessional behaviors, but this should suffice to explain why I would not recommend hiring this individual.
