Mabius Masonry

The cement between the bricks of my chimney where coming apart.
The chimney cap was broken.
I hired him and he took the first five or six layers of bricks off, recemted them. Put in a very solid concrete cap. Added stones on top that made it look like a castle. He spent several days doing the work. Outstanding. The price was $1800.00, but I had the best chimney in the entire neighborhood. I wanted to take the chimney with me when I sold my home in Camp Hill. I highly recommend him.

Bryan gave us an evaluation on our home. We had issues with our exterior existing thin stone falling off our home in random places. Bryan explained to us that the original stone work was done very well,however, due to it not being waterproofed was causing "pop offs " during the winter freeze and thaw cycles. Long story short, easy decision, of course we had Bryan take care of our issue. Fixed the stone,sealed the house and while he was there we asked him about bringing our old concrete patio back to life. Bryan cleaned ,sealed the concrete and made it look brand new. He even stopped back a few weeks later to do a follow up visit.

We had a contractor tell us that our chimney was in bad shape and needed a new steel liner ASAP for cost of $ 3,000.00 ?? We lived in our home for over 30 years and never even used the fireplace chimney. We thought something seemed fishy so a friend put us in contact with Bryan from Mabius Masonry. Bryan came out right away and gave us a evaluation and explained to us that our chimney was in great shape and a liner was not needed due to fact existing liner was fine. Bryan did explain and show us that the chimney needed a few minor repairs with top clay flue and cement cap thingy on top . Bryan showed up pretty quick to work us in his schedule. He washed and sealed all the brick, fixed the top and its looks great. Bryan took before and after pics of work he did for our records. Our chimney looks great. Thanks Bryan , for your honesty !!

Bryan evaluated our brick home and advised us the importance of keeping our exterior masonry " water proofed" for protection etc. also pointed out that our chimney needed attention. Bryan built us gorgeous real stone accent walls in our home, he is a true craftsman of art. One of many things we appreciated that stood out with his business is that he not only estimates his work, he is the one that does it ! We didn't want a general business contractor where they send out subcontractors that we didnt know to do the actual work. We choose Bryan right away, he welcomed us to his home to see all his stone work live, honestly we cant say enough about him, very professional and you can tell when meeting with him that he has alot of pride in what he does..Bryan is someone who you tell your friends about.We are having him come back in the spring to clean and waterproof our exterior brick and stone.
