    They got the job done well and quickly. A member of their team got COVID requiring some down time while everyone was tested and waited for results but the manager kept us informed and finished quickly once everyone was back onsite. Asked about an additional need for an awning and was transparent about pricing to include that. Good work, fair prices, nice to deal with.

    I had several projects completed in my home by MAC Construction including plastering, interior painting, and downspouts. My home is an old Victorian home; therefore, the walls are plaster with several cracks. Dawn’s team did an amazing job. The walls look like new. Everyone was very polite, accommodating and excellent workers. Everything was cleaned up when the jobs were completed. Dawn, the owner, goes above and beyond to satisfy her customers. I highly recommend this company.

    Roof Removal and Install new roof

    My name is Scott, I had a new roof installed on 11/19/18. My neighbor had a roof installed by Mac's Construction this summer. It looks nice. I called after hours to get a Quote. I spoke to Anthony. He was very professional on the phone and he set up an appointment for the Quote. He had a cancellation and was able to come out the next day. He met with us (Susan and I) and discussed all the steps it would take to replace the roof. He gave us the price and after a short discussion between us (Susan and I ) we decided to move forward on the new roof. Dawn gave us a window of when the work would take place. The weather is always a factor when working outdoors, but the bad weather was avoided. Dawn was Great to deal with and we (Susan and I) met her when the Job was Complete. The new roof looks Great. I would recommend to everyone.

    I would strongly recommend Mac’s company to others . Your work once it got started turned out beautiful and the time to put the roof on was done in a small amount of time . So if anyone is looking for a nice roof in a short time fixed This is YOUR roofing company to go to.

    My personal experience with Mac construction was enlightening to see the owner of a business DAWN actually come to the job site to check on the satisfaction of the work being done for the homeowner she was very nice and easy to talk to and ready and willing to problem solve only there were no problems and at this time I am very satisfied with my new roof.

    I would definitely recommend Mac's Construction. I had my roof replaced in September 2017. Within a week, the permit was in place and work began. The crew that came was very polite and professional. They worked extremely hard ripping off the old roof, replacing some of the plywood underneath and cleanup. Dawn and her crew were always communicating with us. Also, their prices were very reasonable. Great job done!

    I can't say enough GREAT things about Mac's Construction. Due to the size and steepness of our roof, many contractors wouldn't even give me an estimate! However, Mac's rose to the challenge. A 120 year old home in Laurel Springs comes with issues.... cedar shake, 3 layers of roof, rotten wood, etc. The crew worked for six straight days, 12 hours a day! And what a crew.... Have never had such hardworking, HONEST people work on our home! Even when issue after issue came up with the condition of the home, Dawn worked to keep the price low. Mac's was definitely the best decision we made for our home, and we would hire them again for future projects! Special thanks to Dawn and especially to our foreman Brian who led an amazing crew!

    Issues about contract fees, work starting on time, and a lot of miscommunication between your company and workers. Can not recommend you to others.

    I'm sorry to read your review. Your CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION (which is available to anyone who would like a copy) clearly states that you would recommend us to family & friends. ? Perhaps you mixed us up with another company? The facts are as follows (will gladly provide copies of emails confirming to any future customers): a) The miscommunication was not within our office but rather you and your sister, Mr. Manco. You could not make decisions as you advised "my sister is paying for everything". You and your sister could not coordinate the install date, the color choice, work to be done, to name a few. (It should be noted your sister does not live at property so communication usually took 3 phone calls) ; b) Contract signed on 12/2. Immediately offered an install on 12/5 (THREE DAYS LATER) your sister asked to push to 12/7 or 12/8. Gladly went back and forth between you two - over 9 calls in the first 2 days (some of which were after hours - we pride ourselves in taking all calls 24/7). Due to snow we were pushed to install 12/13. Your Customer Completion Form indicates that you WOULD recommend us to your family & friends. You gave us a 100% rating and where asked if there is anything we can do better to serve you, you answered "no". I will submit this form to BuildZoom for their review as it is in direct conflict with your posted review.
