MADRIL BUILDERS

Almost a year later in this home and we are still be effected and treated horribly by Madril Builders. We have been battling to get repairs completed for over 4 months. They refused to respond to the bonded builders warranty claim and are refusing to repair a hole that Lance himself put in my wall. Instead of accepting responsibility for their actions, they are ignoring us and making completely false accusations. Honestly, Lance would function much better without the poor customer service of his partner Susan. The two are not on the same page when it comes to customer satisfaction.

Lance and Susan were fantastic. When I took a set of plans to their office they went over pros and cons of some of the things I was interested in and were very upfront about what our budget could handle. Once we got the drawn plans back they were even better than expected because of the recommendations they provided. Our house was completed not only in a timely manner, but much sooner than we expected! Anytime I had questions or concerns they were addressed and explained in a way that I could understand. Working with Madril was actually much easier than working with the bank we chose, and Susan did a fabulous job navigating that fiasco as well! They also made changes and upgrading during the building process easy. After moving in they fixed all of the very minor little things we noticed about the house that you don't really catch until you are moved in. We are so happy with our forever home!

From the beginning, we had complete confidence in Lance and Susan at Madril Builders. We had researched reputable websites and found no complaints or legal issues and a Better Business Bureau rating of A+. There were many obstacles that had to be overcome in order to build on our lot and Lance had the confidence and expertise to get the job done. We presented them with plans from a few different homes and they were able to create a floor plan that was exactly what we were hoping for. The building process was stress free and the quality of the materials and workmanship exceeded our expectations. Our home was completed within 7 months of closing on our loan. Their years of experience are evident and their professionalism and work ethic are unmatched. We highly recommend Madril Builders.

My experience was/is horrible. We closed on our house in June 2017 and it's now April 2018 and they are still not done. We were told 6-7 months to build and that has turned into over 10 months with no idea of a completion date. We have been lied to several times about frivolous excuses for delays. When we ask for a completion date, we are ignored. They have locked us out of our house and have been extremely rude and unprofessional. We can never get accurate information if any at all. Just to name a few things, we could never find out where our supplies were coming from, never given a break down of pricing for all supplies, never received a copy or final of the plans. Additionally, they advertised that all their homes included some standard features such as a brick mail box and a laundry room sink. We have neither of these standard items and when we inquired we were told there would be an extra charge. This entire experience has been painful and has cost me thousands of extra dollars. Not to mention the extremely high interest payments I have been making because they have taken so long. Be ware of this builder. They lure you by being extremely helpful and available in the beginning, but once you sign the contract, close on the loan and they get your down payment, you are no longer important and you become a number.
