Mike and his team built our modular home in 2013. We liked Mike's enthusiasm and attention to what we wanted in our home. He found another modular company to use when the first couldn't accommodate our timeline due to backups caused by Hurricane Sandy. Mike guided us through the process and recommended changes to the plans that we loved and would have never thought of ourselves. Mike used subcontractors that he knew well and we appreciated that they all worked hard to get us into our new home in time for Christmas. The experience was like working with a group of friends that cared about you and what you wanted.

We worked with Mike Madtes and his crew to have our modular home built several years ago. Through the whole process, Mike was always thinking creatively about how to make the home feel special and be exactly what we wanted and needed. We really enjoyed the process, and after some issues with another builder, we were so glad to find Mike and the get the project done right. Thanks, Mike!

We were so lucky to be able to work with Mike and his whole family. From the very first meeting my wife and I knew that he was the builder for us. Mike helped us to choose a home plan and then worked with us to customize it to suit our needs. Mike always had our best interests in mind and treated our house like it was his very own. If we ever have a question or need something he is always just a phone call away. We are planning to have Mike and his crew back to finish our basement in the near future. You honestly will not find a more honest, hardworking and dedicated builder. We cannot say thank you enough for everything that Mike, his family and crew have done for us.

About 1 year ago, Madtes Construction begin working on a 2900 sq ft custom modular on a lake in Schuylkill County. With any home building process, the unexpected is to be expected, but along the way Mike and his subcontractors displayed the utmost professionalism and first class service delivery. They were timely with their work. I was in the brand new home within the 6 months projected. The team was very creative also and able to adjust and respond when changes were needed. I travel a lot for work, so was always a little worried when I was on the road about things with the house. Mike communicated extremely well to reassure me about deliverables planned during the process. I highly recommend Madtes Construction and look forward to working and recommending Mike and his team to others for their home contracting needs.

Madtes Construction was great to work with. Their subcontractors work well together helping each other and not saying " that's their job not ours, or I can't go any farther until they do this or that". When there was a problem, and there will be problems, they always answer the phone. I hear nightmares from friends or family saying they couldn't get ahold of their contractor for days. Madtes Construction build a custom 2 bedroom home on our property where our previous home had burned down. I would use them again.

We are very proud owners of a home built by Madtes Construction. A 5 bedroom, 3 full baths, finished basement, and 2 car garage house. We just love it, and more importantly the Madtes family is wonderful to work with. Honest, reliable and trustworthy people are hard to find and my husband and I recommend them highly to young families interested in a well built beautiful house.

I have happily recommended Madtes Construction to anyone seeking a contractor for an addition, renovation, or new construction. He far exceeded my expectations, in service, invaluable advice and input, and in quality of workmanship. The finished product is a large one story addition, suitable for the care and comfort of a near-helpless stroke patient. He thought of many design changes and features, that I never would have considered, which accommodated our specific needs. He took care of all permits, and brought in subcontractors who were skilled and took pride in their work. The finished home, with knotty pine paneling, cathedral ceiling, great kitchen cabinets, and unique touches is a showplace that draws wows from visitors, and is a delight and comfort to live in. He took personal pains to select the knotty pine, and finished the panels himself, with the help of his sons. His wife cleaned and dusted out the kitchen cabinets, saving me time and effort, so the only thing left to do was for me to unpack boxes and fill drawers and shelves. Mike's treatment of us was that of a thoughtful, honorable good friend, although we had never known him, or his family before.
