Magnum Opus 'Fine Home" Builders built our house in 2006. If you want snakes, rats and mice in your house, these are the builders for you. Builder also added extra unexpected charges of $75,000 the day before closing on our house, of which, we were able to dispute (many items were not even performed on our house), we managed to get this figure down around $35,000. Many items were left unfinished on our house including the entertainment and media closet wiring projects. Had to eventually threaten with a lawsuit just to get our kitchen cabinets and crown molding done as these were special order items this builder had exclusive access to. 15 years later we still have existing issues with the original build quality of this house. House was supposed to be finished in August 2006 but was not done until December 2006, we lost our original home mortgage interest rate since the project was not finished and ended up with a higher interest rate. Curt seems to provide better service the more you are paying, our house was left without anyone working on it for months at a time while working on a multi-million dollar house in Chapel Hill at our expense.
