Matt and Scott told my husband and myself that the old decking was unusable and would require a full tear off and replace for which we would be charged well over 15k instead of the original quote of 9500. They did not do a year off at all and to save them time and labor they did a complete coverup of the 100 year old bad decking with 75 sheets of new decking over the old which we were told by the I Spector and other contractors is not supposed to be done because it is unstable and will deteriorate quicker and will require a full tear off the next time it needs new shingles. They never provided us a warranty for the shingles nor for their shoddy workmanship. This was done in November of 2022 and we have yet to receive any warranty . Scott refused to do anything about the shoddy coverup and never finished the job to our satisfaction. He even threatened to sabotage the sale of the house. We still own the house but it is under contract. They don't stand behind their work evidenced by the lack of warranty and charged us over 15k for a coverup of nasty 100 year old roof decking. Taking them to court on principle so they won't rip off others.

Mathew Zomerlwi and Scott Empire are criminals. Took a $1500 check deposit for roofing work. Once they cashed the check- they never did any work and stopped communicating. I have since filed a lawsuit against the company- and won a $1643 judgement. Do not trust these characters.
