    Lucian built us a very large deck to replace the more than 50 year old deck we had before. Lucian was timely with the project (1700 total square feet of deck, including railing), and was transparent about all costs from the start. He recommended essential improvements to the foundational work, ensuring that it was done the right way, and was extremely detailed in the construction of all parts of the project. I would highly recommend Lucian for building projects that require attention to quality and detail.

    We hired Lucian for a major renovation which included removing a large brick chimney on 2 floors and creating an open layout for our kitchen and living room. Having Lucian as our contractor was the best decision we've ever made and we're forever grateful for the space he created for our family. His precise attention to detail, honesty and eye for good design are just a few of the things that we really appreciated! We ended up changing the design a few times but he was always patient and gracious to accomodate our requests. If we need any work in the future, we would call him in a heartbeat!

    Fantastic Deck Replacement

    We had an old deck that was a safety hazard, so we went to buildzoom to find someone to help. We were connected with Maiden Construction and they did a fantastic job.

    Maiden Construction worked closely with us on finalizing the details of the new deck design. They were very transparent about the trade-offs and costs of different features, helping us get the best bang for our buck.

    They also take great pride in their work.

    The city was really slow getting the permits for the job, and Maiden Construction was flexible with their timing.

    Now that everything's been completed we couldn't be happier with the deck.

I am glad that we did. The owner and his crew are very professional and they really pay attention to detail. We are very happy with our house and all the help and advice we got from them.     Remodel After Water Damage

    Remodel of home after water damage: Maiden Construction removed carpet and toilet from second floor master bathroom, where water damage originated. Maiden Construction replaced them with a new toilet and new linoleum flooring, and installed new lighting, sinks, backsplash, and faucets. Water damaged old carpets were removed from master bathroom and replaced with new carpet. Maiden Construction also removed the remaining hardwood flooring from the first floor (some removed for initial dry out), and replaced it with new hardwood flooring. Maiden Construction had the wiring on the first floor inspected for water damage, replaced the canned lighting in the kitchen, the stove cook top in the center island, and several electrical circuits and switches. Maiden Construction replaced the toilet from the first floor bathroom and installed linoleum flooring in lieu of the original wood. Maiden Construction also replaced the water damaged carpet pad and chandelier in the dining room, as well as water damaged crown molding, chair rail, and other trim. Water damaged insulation in the crawl space was replaced.
    Three contractors were contacted to provide bids. Maiden Construction was selected due to the recommendation of an overbooked, highly rated Angie’s List contractor, and Maiden Construction’s thorough work scope description. The overall project went very well, and we are very satisfied with the quality of the work. While there was a little miscommunication, and some delays on our part making replacement choices, on the whole, this was a good experience and we would certainly consider working with Maiden Construction on any additional remodeling in the future.
