My Father has been building for almost 60 yrs, I started working for him when I was 10 yrs old. I'm fifty now my Dad is 78, we still enjoy building. I like to treat my customers the way I would like to be treated. I communicate with them myself to avoid any confusion, We get our jobs done very quickly and always on time. We do large additions and home building.
I have done bathroom and kitchens but I prefer not to do them unless they are part of a bigger project. My Customers trust me to complete their projects, I keep them informed of everything that is coming up and decisions that are need to be made. it works extremely well.
We are currently upgrading our website (mailletandson.com) there will be lots of photos and comments from my customers. It should be up with in a couple of weeks.

We hired Marcel Maillet of Maillet and Sons, Sudbury MA to turn an ugly screened in porch into a 4-season room with a gas fire in our home in Concord Center In addition we remodeled the adjacent mudroom.
We initially met with several other builders, none of whom impressed us as the right builder to hire like Marcel immediately did. We couldn’t have possibly chosen a more skilled, more highly-organized, and more easy-to-work with builder than Marcel. Marcel gave us a fair and complete estimate for our job’s total cost with a realistic schedule for a job start and end, both of which he stuck to, largely because Marcel is highly-competent and highly-organized at carrying out building projects from his many years of experience building homes with his father Al (who is now recently retired and who we were honored to meet); Marcel and his crew started our job on the exact date he said he would start. Marcel and his employees/sub-contractors came to work on time every day at 7am and worked diligently all day until our job was finished on time and on budget for the exact total cost Marcel quoted us up front; we couldn’t POSSIBLY have asked for more from any other builder. When an unexpected challenge came up that Marcel could not have possibly foreseen, Marcel was so experienced and so competent at building/remodeling houses, that he immediately came up with a solution and a change-order that he implemented without issue for a very fair agreed on additional price.
Other builders seemed more interested in telling how complicated the job was going to be with lots of potential unexpected problems. Marcel’s attitude was completely different. He assured us that any unexpected issues that turned up would be easily sorted out. He prides himself in just getting the job done. This is indeed exactly how things went.
On his website, Marcel says the following very true statement about his company: “Father and Son work together to produce the highest quality homes possible, maintaining both their relationships with subs and suppliers, and the company's reputation for an outstanding product.” That statement is absolutely one-hundred percent true; in addition to Marcel being a highly-competent and highly-organized builder from his years of experience building home with his father, his close relationships with his sub-contractors and his suppliers was instrumental in ensuring that our job was completed on time and on budget. We highly recommend that you consider hiring Marcel for any building/remodeling project.
