They were realtor recommended but have since been black-listed after this experience. Hired by a person whose house I spent the summer working on to prepare for the market. Majestic was hired to install carpet in 4 bedrooms, hallway & livingroom, and viny fauxl hardwood in kitchen & large utility room after house was empty and interior work & painting was completed in those areas. The owner of Majestic never rectified nor even acknowledged the following damage: 1) broken bedroom a window, 2) bathroom flooring installed so the door wouldn't be able to close, 3) too much water in cement when leveling underlayment led to gallons seeping out onto brick mosaic patio outside utility room as well as onto the front porch where it piled up and dried around the edges of a box, and 4) tools used for mixing and speading cement were rinsed in the small bathroom sink and shower, leaving wet cement in drain pipes and under sink. They also left trash like soda cups and food wrappers in the furnace closet. Some family were working in the yard when the cement leaked onto the back patio and spent a few hours cleanig it up before it dried. The cement in the shower drain appeared to still be moist since they covered it with a piece of carpet and the toilet in order to install the vinyl. The home owners paid to replace the window and repaired the rest themselves (including sanding down the cement porch) and never once heard back from the owner.
Despite everything, the installers were nice and worked hard. These problems can be resolved with better training and customer service, and I hope they are. Majestic is LUCKY the homeowners are too nice to sue and knew how to fix the damage. They were in a hurry to meet a deadline. I doubt the next customer will be so understanding. Hire at your own risk.
