  Shingle house/ gutters

  We have been trying to get them back down to repair shingles for three years now. I have left countless messages. They will not return my calls. The only time my call was answered was when I requested a quote on a new roof. They said they would be back to fix shingles that had blown off. We are still waiting. Save yourself the frustration and heartache and go with a different company. They do not stand behind their work.

  Shingle

  My dad was sick with colon cancer last summer and they were supposed to shingle his roof. They took the $7800 insurance check and cashed it. Never showed up to do the work.
  Been trying over a year now to get money back. They wrote him a bad check. Stay clear of these guys. Not sure how they sleep at night.

  new roof and gutters on home and barn

  Our experience with Malcolm Roofing has been frustrating at best. Malcolm put on a complete new roof for our home/business and barn. It was "completed" late last fall and we continue to have problems today. Where to begin. I will start with the roofing nails which were too long and as a result punched through our beautiful pine eaves breaking boards. Many of these nails continue to await being cut off so at least we don't see them, the eaves should be replaced. The skylights in the barn have leaked twice and gutters have fallen off the house. Downspouts on the barn are not angled properly so that the water is carried away from the foundation. Our biggest problem, however, is that we continue to have leaks inside our home and no one is coming to fix them. We have complained about these leaks for 4 months. Once when we were successful in getting a workman out to repair the leaks in the home, he left to get more supplies and never came back. Many promises have been made to fix these things but no one shows up, no phone call is made to tell us they are not coming and when we complain no phone call is returned. We feel very disregarded and somewhat helpless. I guess the truth is once they have your money it is all over. And did I mention that their workmen would pee gleefully off our roof!! We will probably have to file against their bond.
