Malle Painting, LLC. Employees
As a lead-certified company, Malle used no measures to protect employees or my yard from lead contamination. In replacing my lead siding, they piled old siding on my hole-ridden tarp and then dragged siding across the yard to dumpsters. There were lead paint chips throughout the grass, garden beds, and flower beds. They dumped lead paint debris in a pile in my bushes and even used a leaf blower to "clean up the area" of lead paint. Every time they came out to fix their work, they made it worse. They finally paid me to cover another contractor's top soil scrape to remove thousands of lead paint chips (which nullifies their warranty).
To install a door, they cut and repaired an electrical line without an electrical license. After asking them to fix the door several times, they mudded an outlet cover into the wall and light still shines in around the crooked door. They demolished my lead-siding garage without a permit and without removing windows (leaving crushed glass everywhere).
For their paint job, they sprayed one thin coat across the whole home exterior, even spraying paint on an interior wall and floor.
The workers were kind and respectful, though I felt completely violated being left to repair their low work quality and to remove thousands of toxic lead paint chips where I grow food.
