I requested 48 amps continuous load to be supplied to charge an EV Tesla Model Y. I had over $2,700 of work performed. It turns out it was not to code and the breaker could not safely support the required amperage. Malones installed a 50-amp breaker and wire not rated for 48 amp continuous. Malones should have installed a 60-amp breaker and a wire rated at 55 amp or above. When I dealt with the owner he was constantly late in his responses (he went on vacation rather than respond back when he said he would) and did not stand behind/warranty his work. When he agreed that the work he performed could not carry the required load, he wanted me to pay him an additional $3,000 to fix what he didn't install correctly initially. I eventually had another company come out and properly install everything for $2,000. What does that say about Malones Electrical Solutions pricing?
