Took my deposit in early May with a promise of starting mid-June on a newly purchased house which has a 60-day roof replacement contingency by my homeowners insurance company. I've been strung along for the past month and counting. He promises a start date, disappears from days (not answering calls or texts), re-appears, apologises profusely, promises a new date and the process starts all over again. They may do good work but it seems that I'll never find out. Now the nail biting starts since I'm just about in violation of that 60 day replacement contingency.
