Hard to review, called for an estimate and came right out. said they would get an estimate the following week and 2 weeks later never came. I called and left a message with my name and number and no response. another week goes by and I left 2 different messages 3 days apart and still never a response. Very unprofessional. Could never recommended this company since they apparently do not know how to contact potential customers instead they do everything to drive them away.

Horrible company! I would never recommend Mankato Landshapes unless you are looking for poor quality work, a Project Manager and a company owner that are inexperienced in their own product and then put the blame on the customer. Work was done at a residential home requesting an old retaining wall to be removed and replaced with the expectation that the new wall would be flesh against the steps leading up to the front door. In return what was completed was a retaining wall that has an 8-inch gap between the wall and front stairs causing hazards to all guests entering and leaving the home. Was informed by the Luke Erickson (Project Manager) that the wall would never be flesh to the steps as it is not a new build. Inaccurate information. The issue is that Luke and the company are incompetent and take advantage of the situation. Homeowner was informed that it’s the homeowner’s responsibility to ask questions prior to the start of the project as the company is not aware of the homeowner’s knowledge base when in reality the company hires individuals that are incompetent and do not know their own product line and which block is appropriate for each project. In return, the company failed to work with and provide satisfaction to the homeowner leaving a project looking incomplete as well as creating safety hazards for all that come and go. Additionally, rather than addressing it and owning their poor quality work they instead decide to take the homeowner to court. DO NOT USE THEM.
