In January - March 2014, Marc Thomis (Thomis Builders, Brewster MA) and Rick Smith (Ocean Bay Builders, Brewster MA) expanded the existing bathroom in my Cape cottage with a 2’ x 4’ addition. To put on the addition, the existing floor in the bathroom had to be removed exposing the subfloor. I learned today from my plumber that these “builders” neglected to replace rotting boards in the subfloor and, instead, just covered the whole floor over with new tile. Very disappointing work that I’ll now have to pay to have redone.
