A tricky shrewd electrician, will threaten customers to get the money first and then vanish. I have already filed a complaint through attorney general's office, so you can imagine how stressful it was for me to handle it.
My new electrician found out that he did he left a "HOT" wire hanging inside my wall, they had to cut drywalls again to fix all his bad wiring.STAY AWAY

I paid Alex Marez a deposit of $522 for materials on October 20th. Nearly a month later, he still has not completed the work and has not returned my deposit. I've reached out nearly 20x and he either doesn't answer my calls/texts or provides lies/excuses.
I've already hired another electrician to complete the job. The new electrician also noted that work previously done by Alex was not permitted. Our breaker box had been improperly installed without obtaining a permit from the City of Austin. The box was also not mounted properly and was left exposed to the elements. It will cost $2800 to fix.
