A good plumber is hard to come by. Mario was spot on; he communicated constantly before the job, and did a terrific water heater replacement within hours of my emergency. I hope to never need him anytime soon, but I would not hesitate to have him do any plumbing work.

Mario was awesome. Once i called him he immediately came to my house to give me an estimate on a leak. He was prompt and even cleaned afterward. Would strongly recommend him.

Mario will tell you that he's been doing this for 30 years, that his father was a plumber, and that he believes that being a plumber is overall a better alternative to anyone considering attending college. This all leads you to believe he's a great plumber. He's not. He left me with a plumbing problem after "fixing" my plumbing problem. (He also did this with another family member.) He replaced my water heater. After it was in, rusty gunk was coming out from EVERY water source in the house (since I do have older pipes). He removed the screens from the faucets and cleaned out the traps and everything seemed to be okay except for the kitchen faucet. There was no water flow. He worked underneath removing and checking hoses and finally we had running water again. A couple of days later, there was water leaking under the kitchen sink. First he said he'd come out, didn't show, and then he said to call another plumber. I did, problem fixed in minutes. On a previous call, I asked him to repair the bathtub leaky faucet. He said he wouldn't touch it (since he had a bad previous experience). I called another plumber and they replaced the stem with no problem. Mario by his own admission steers away from old plumbing so I guess the message here is if you have old plumbing or anything that could get complicated, call another plumber. Mario only wants the easy jobs and in plumbing things can go wrong and when they do, Mario just exits.
