Mark Ouellette Carpentry

September 2017/ I agree with the others negative experience with this contractor. I have been working with him on getting my bathroom done for five months now. I finally had to say enough is enough and has to get someone else to do the job. He and his wife are not responsive to phone calls or texts and he leaves you hanging, even though he promises he'll get it done. I gave him many options to back out and he said no he was going to get the job done I said OK and here it is two months later and still not much has been done he doesn't show up when he says he will and when he did show up he was only here for short time perhaps an hour or two if that. Things also got broken in my home that he did not need to touch. I have been more than patient. In addition lots of excuses continually. Headaches, car problems. Yes life does have a way of getting twisted around but he does have other people working with him so why not use their vehicle for the day. I would search for a much more reputable company to do your job . BE CAREFUL!!!

I attempted to contract Mark Ouelette. He came to my home and provided me a quote. We agreed upon a price and a start date. The date came and went and was rescheduled twice. Those dates came and went as well. He talks a big game, however, highly unreliable. Never did get the job done by him. He did not even have the courtesy to call and tell me and let me know he was not coming, and stopped answering my calls. I would NOT recommend this individual. Due to his false promises, I lost two weeks. All talk, no action!

Mark Ouellette is a dishonest (yes, dishonest) unreliable, alcoholic, storytelling thief who is unable to deliver the quality of work he claims he is capable of delivering. Mark took 5 weeks to do something he claimed would take 2 weeks – Due to this, our renters had to move in late; which Mark was completely aware of and just didn't care. The work he did do (because he didn't finish) was sloppy and haphazardly done. He was never working when he said he was, he refused to answer his phone, he didn't pull the proper permits and he was always in need of money or more materials; which I would buy and then he would take to other jobs! Mark Ouellette Carpentry from Wethersfield, CT and Old Lyme, CT is a joke. If you do not believe me – hire Mark Ouellette Carpentry and experience this renovation nightmare for yourself.
