Homeowner beware. Mark is not the person he presents himself as. Came to do a job at my home and didn't really know what he was exactly doing. Flew by the seat of his pants and did things wrong and then had to fix his mess ups. Then wanted to bill for his time to fix the things he messed up. I was always taught to measure twice and cut once. Apparently Mark did not learn that in his so called training. So now the job is about 40% done and he wants more money, even though he has been paid half already. Gives you an estimate that changes as he goes along. When you tell him that he is no longer going to complete job for you he gets very unprofessional. Curses at you and calls you names. Then comes to your property and takes supplies from your property that were already paid for. Last time I checked that is stealing. So in closing my best advice to everyone is to beware of Mark.

Mark did some nice work when I could find him. He re-did a bathroom for me, did some exterior woodwork and painting on my home and set some tile. Unfortunately as the project came down, he couldn't finish the last 5% of the work. I paid him unfortunately for this to be done and over a 9 month period never got the job finished. I like Mark, but he is full of b.s.

Mark Richards was hired to remodel a bathroom at my parents' house. Upon completion of his work, it was found that the shower was not level, causing water to accumulate on the backside of the shower after each use. Mark admitted that he had not properly installed the shower, even going so far as to bring in a plumber who verified that the shower was not installed correctly. He claimed that he would get back to my parents about rectifying his mistake. After not hearing from Mark for an egregiously long period of time, my mother followed up with him about correcting the shower. Mark claimed he would get back to her, but never did. My mother attempted to follow up a few weeks later, but he has stopped answering the phone. It has been over a week and he has not returned her call. Mark was paid almost $13,000 for the job and now refuses to make good on his end of the bargain. Mark is a wildly incompetent contractor and his "professional" demeanor is a disgrace. How this man got his license and continues to maintain his license is beyond my comprehension. Avoid his "services" at all cost.
