Mark built our home in 2015. We not only got an amazing home but gained a lifetime friend. Mark is a perfectionist and made sure we loved everything about our home. I would highly recommend Mark if you are building a new home. He is honest and trustworthy.

Mark was referred to me as a "meticulous builder." After visiting one of his properties and talking about our plans for a home we decided to use him as our builder. He definitely was a meticulous builder. He was very organized and easy to keep in contact with. He was on site frequently. Mark gave us great advice and had awesome subcontractors with great experience. Our only problem was when we didn't follow his recommendation and hired a different subcontractor for a pool patio. When we had to sell our home and move away, my one positive was the idea of moving back and having him build us another home! I would build another home with him again any day! I could never find anyone more honest, caring and meticulous to build a house!

Bad experience with this builder. My in-laws spent over a year selling their home and planning to build their retirement home, when Mr. Eller decided to increase the price of the build by $45000. He waited until after they sold their home, where they had been living for 30 years. Ten days after they moved out of our home and were ready to start the build! Not only do I believe this man to be a horrible business person for trying to take advantage of folks, but he also became very hostile and angered once he was confronted about the increase in the price. The only positive thing he did, was give them their $5000 deposit back. Do not trust this guy! He tried to take advantage of some very good people, and waited until they had a contract on their house before letting them know there would be a change in price.

I am a current client of Trademark and am having them build me a custom home in the Goose Creek subdivision in Soddy Daisy. This is the first home my wife and I have built from scratch but I have used many subcontractors personally over the 27 years I've owned homes, including rental property. I also have a better than working knowledge and personal skills that span the entire construction industry, so I have a trained eye for quality work. I have also worked in the IT sales and services industry for over 30 years and I hold an MBA so I can speak to general business practices as well.
My wife and I met Trademark's primary site supervisor, Steve, back in June '24 during our search for a property in the Chattanooga area. From the moment he said hello to the time we parted ways with him 4-5 hours later our personal feel for him was unbelievably positive. We found out later that Steve's primary profession is as a pastor for a small Southern Baptist church in Dayton, which didn't surprise me.
As for the quality of their work, I saw IMMEDIATELY they did not cut corners at all. The materials used and the attention to detail was like nothing I've ever seen in a home. They had 2-3 going and all three were in various states of completion so I got to see the foundation, framing, plumbing, wiring, as well as the finish workmanship. All of it perfection! In fact, I had some reservation over building a home in Chattanooga while we still lived in Memphis, but I told Steve, "I've never met a builder I would trust 100% to build me a home without me laying eyes on the work every day, but I would trust you." I thought my wife was going to fall over.
We met Mark Eller the next day and my personal experience with them so far has tracked 100% with my expectations. They are collaborative. They over communicate. They do not nickel and dime. If anything they have over delivered so far. We still have months to go but good so far! Check out 240 Goose Creek Cir for a great home!
