    kitchen remodel and bathroom remodels

We had our kitchen remodeled and Marouni did such a good job we then had our four bathrooms remodeled. Vince and his guys did a great job on our kitchen, from helping us design it and making recommendations we wouldn't have thought of to sourcing great materials and most importantly dealing with problems that always come up when working with an older home. We had a split level ceiling that Vince was able to figure out how to increase the height on and make level which made the kitchen feel much more open and spacious. His guys figured out electrical problems that were not noticed at the beginning of the job and everything was done not only on time but ahead of schedule. We were on vacation while the work was being done and my daughter broke her leg and we were considering bringing her back early for surgery at CHOC, when Vince found out he made sure everything was done ahead of schedule.

The bathrooms all look great and are much more functional than before, better lighting, better space management, better storage, etc. One bathroom had been remodeled before we purchased the home and had a large jetted tub and a separate stand in shower adjacent to it. Vince came up with a plan that allowed us to have a tub shower combo that took up less space than the jetted tub and convert the space with the stand up shower into ceiling height cabinets that increased our storage capacity 5x. He also put in a vanity with dual sinks instead of the single sink we had before.

Marouni is a great company and Vince can always be relied on to get the job done and help out in any difficulties that may arise, I recommend them for any big project.

My son has a terminal muscle wasting disease and we try our best to give him as much dignity, independence, and comfort on this hard journey. I am involved in many parent groups and we support each other on this journey to give our children the best lives they can have. To that end I asked around for recommendations for a contractor for an accessible bathroom. Vince had completed one years ago for another family.
    *
I made contact and sent blue prints and photos of our bathroom. Vince and I scheduled an in person meeting. When he came out we discussed the options. He is a nice guy and seemed to speak as one with experience in accessible bathrooms. When I told my wife about the meeting we were both excited. Most of all my son was excited to hear his bathroom might be coming soon. The in person meeting was 8/20/21.
    *
I never heard back from Vince. I checked my junk email but didn't see anything from him. I did a search on his email address across all my folders and didn't see anything. Finally, on 9/17 I texted him. Just now I searched for his emails again and nothing. He never responded to my text. Well, we unfortunately lost out on time, something that is priceless and precious in my son's journey.

My husband and I hired Vince around six years ago to remodel a bathroom and we are paying the consequences to this day. Things started going badly from the very beginning. Since he probably did not consider this job large enough to deserve his regular crew, he sent workers that he must have hired last minute from God knows where. They used the wrong color grout for the floor tiles and did not use spacers for any of the tiling (floor, shower walls and floor, vanity counter and backsplash, and tub surrounding). The bathroom floor was so bad and uneven that it had to be ripped out and redone (although we had to rebuy the tiles, so double cost for us because of their incompetence). We had to leave the rest of the surfaces as they were but fortunately, although not the work of professionals by any stretch of the imagination, they were not as noticeable, partly due to the lighter color grout. Then, the plumber positioned the risers for the tub faucets at different heights, so the faucets ended up being one higher than the other. Since they had already tiled around them, the risers could not be corrected and the crew was forced to just enlarge the holes in the wall to the max possible width that could be covered by the base of the faucets, but we still had to live with unprofessional, faulty work. Then a couple of weeks later the faucets that were installed on the sink started leaking inside the vanity. When Vince's plumber came back, he actually charged me to fix it. Fast forwarding to today, we found out we had a shower tile and vapor barrier leak in and around the shower wall insert that caused mold on the other side of the wall (hallway) with cracks and crumbling spots and even buckling of the hardwood floors. Our homeowner insurance ordered a leak inspection but was not able to cover the damages because the inspection revealed that they were caused by poor workmanship. We then contacted Vince twice to ask him to please come over to take a look and he never returned our messages. That was two weeks ago. We just want to make people aware of the poor quality workmanship that his company displayed in our project. There are a lot of good contractors out there, don't take your chances with Marouni Industries.

    Kitchen remodel, floors
    $40,000

The contractor rarely showed up because he didn't want to drive too far. He hired low-skilled sub-contractors and never supervised them. He strongly recommended a tile that was completely unsuitable for it's use and it's a complete disaster. His quotes are low because the quality of the workmanship is barely acceptable if you're lucky. I have never recommended him and if anyone asks about this contractor, I refuse to give them his contact information. Spare yourself from shoddy work with flimsy, low-cost materials.

    Bathroom

Their CA Kitchens, Floors and Baths Inc. in Anaheim did a very poor job on a bathroom remodel for use. Four cracks in the tile, poor paint job, a leak under the sink that i will have to repair yet, and the cabinet draws are off center. along with my $2000 plus dollar vanity had to be cut twice for every cut (four).

The team arrived on time and worked quickly on the project. They did a really great job to remove the patio without damage as it was connected to the house. They also made sure all debris was swept up and collected.
