Phillip M. Martelli
Martellis Construction Co, Owner
On Sept 17, 2024, I reached out via phone to Mike for an estimate on a Mr. Cool HVAC mini split. We confirmed a visit/estimate for Sept 18 via text and Mike came out to the property (Phila PA 19132). On Oct 8, we reached out with further questions regarding installation and requested a written estimate. Oct 9 Mike provided a written estimate for $6,345.46 ($4,554.46 for the unit & $1800 for labor). Oct 10 Mike was given TD Check# 130 in the amount of $5,454.46 (for unit and half of labor). We were told it could take up to 8 to 10 business days, maybe be slightly longer due to the time of year, heating install/maintenance is common. The check was cashed Oct 10th.
Oct 25, called for status and tracking number. No Response, Nov 1 & 9, requested a status on install and requested the tracking number. Nov 11 Mike advised he had been hospitalized and would try to get details to us by end of day. No response. Reached out Nov 13, 16, &18th; Mike advised on the 18th that he would be back in the office tomorrow 11/19. No response, reached out to Mike Nov 22, he advised he was on a call and could have job completed after holiday. We told him No that was too late and requested reimbursement as this has gone on too long! Mike advised that he requested reimbursement. No response. Reached out Nov 29 & Dec 2 for status on reimbursement. Dec 4 Mike advised reimbursement was approved before Thanksgiving and he is waiting for the amount to process to his account. Called Mike Dec 4 & 6, No Response.
