We absolutely loved working with Ellen Martin. She was professional, friendly, and responsive via email, text and phone. Everything about the renovation came out exactly the way we envisioned it.
There were delays due to contractor, supplier and plumbing issues - nothing at all to do with Ellen's work.

This is the 2nd project I've worked with Ellen Martin, Architects. I find the practice to be fair and responsible. I am an interior designer in Dallas and have worked in an architectural firm, now I have my own business for 12+ years. Having bad experience with architects and contractors over these years gave me a comparison for working the projects in NYC. EM Architects do a great job navigating through all the NY regulations to keep the project moving forward and troubleshooting if problems arise. I did not know Ms. Martin prior to retaining her for design and architectural filings prior to using her. I found her services to be very professional. Time management was excellent. Permitting and design were always done right the first time. Worked well with the contractor (who had recommended her) and responded to questions and concerns quickly. She was well received by my Condo board and the property manager. I certainly would retain Ellen again for architectural services in the future.
