I had an excellent experience with Martin Exteriors. They exceeded my picky expectations. Mr. Martin was very personable, as was the job supervisor, Eddie. My neighbor had used them and he highly recommended them. Trust me you won't regret giving them your business.

Permits
- Building permit records show that Martin Home Exteriors has worked on 1887 permitted projects.
My first encounter with Martin Home Exteriors was a pleasant and professional one with the Salesman originally assigned to me, unfortunately, I don't remember his name. My initial meeting was great after the Salesman inspected my home. Based on the pricing and what all needed to be done I thought it was a fair price. The problems began when it took the company two months to start the job. The delay was caused by the heavy rains that created a lot of delays on other jobs that Martin was working on. The problem was that I was not getting any communication from my Salesman about the delays until I contacted him. His responses always started with apologies and a potential start date would come and go with no follow-up to some of the questions I had about the overall job.
Once they started working on the house, the first day was filled with issues. The first issue had to do with the stucco on the front of the house. The stucco had a huge bulging area that was created from water getting into the stucco because I did not have cutters on the house. This of course resulted in additional costs which I rejected because this issue should not have been missed if my house was thoroughly inspected. This area was on the right front side of the house as you approached the front door. It was impossible to miss this area.
The owner of Martin came out to my home that day and inspected the area. He apologized that it was missed during the initial inspection and agreed to hire an expert stucco repairman to fix it at no cost to me. The second day on the job they found additional damage related to the interior of my chimney. I agreed that this could not have been known during the initial inspection and paid the additional cost, which was less than $500.00.
I was home during the entire time Martin worked on my home. There were 3-4 men who worked on my home. The workers were very professional and worked the entire time except for lunch and a scheduled break. At the end of each day, they left my property in good condition. All trash and debris was picked up and placed on their truck. The painters and gutter installation company was hired by Martin was also very professional and timely with getting the painting and the gutters done.
When they were completely done with the house, the owner came out a day or two after the job and performed his own inspection. There were a few minor things he was not pleased with and sent the siding installers and painters back out to fix it.
Although the job started off with a shaky start with the Salesman, Martin made up for it with the rest of the project. I found out after the job was completed that he let my Salesman go. He did not give any details, but I assumed that I was not the only customer who had issues with him.
Lastly, months later the paint on my garage started bubbling up. I notified Martin about it. The owner request that I send him pictures of it and he will take care of it. I failed to send the pictures in because of my busy traveling schedule. I firmly believe that if I sent those pictures in a timely manner that Martin Home Exteriors would have fixed the paint.
I would use them again when needed. I'm actually going to call them for an estimate for screening in my patio area. I have recommended them to several of my neighbors and friends. I don't know if anyone has called them, but I definitely plan on using them again.
